-Respect is key! Respect the staff members, respect the other members, respect yourself. Respect the site. Respect other's beliefs and opinions. Respect can prevent alot of problems.
-No bashing/flaming/hurtful comments- we want this site to be user-friendly. If someone disagrees with you, fine, we can all agree to disagree, but don't chew them out about it...be polite. Don't try to force your opinions onto another person, and don't tell them anything along the lines of "Your wrong and I'm right!" Also, don't bash yourself. Seriously. Respect yourself, and then you will be respected. *Nods*
-Keep the cussing down to a minimum. This includes words that you censor out with asterisks. I mean it--no one really wants to read that crap. You can say crap. You can say d**n. Nothing worse.
-No vulgar images/pornography...no one appreciates that junk. Please, keep the site clean.
-No discrimination/racial slurs/prejudices/sterotypes...again, common sense, courtesy, and respect.
-Follow the Golden Rule...treat others how you want to be treated. =)
-No one-word posts/posts with just emoticons...very annoying and pointless.
-No double-posting unless it's necessary...see the edit button? Use it. ^.<
-Try to post in the correct board for things, just to steer clear of hassle and confusion.
-At least try to use correct grammar and spelling. I know, we all make mistakes, but the spell check button does come in handy once in a while.
-Keep the chatspeak and l33t down to a minimum. "Lol" and "brb" and easy words like that are fine, but "i dnt want 2 c u 411 sp34k1ng lk dys". Mmkay?
Just follow these simple rules, and we can have a nice, friendly forum. ^^
